Application
SYLOID ® 7000 is a wax treated, high porosity silica matting agent of fine particle size. The key features of SYLOID ® 7000 are: - high matting effect - ease of dispersion - excellent film clarity and film smoothness - excellent optical properties in wet paint and dried coating film SYLOID ® 7000 is mainly used for matting of thin film systems, e.g. - high quality water-borne and solvent-borne furniture coatings - artificial and natural leather coatings - coatings for automotive plastic parts - coatings for foils and laminates - UV-curable acrylate systems
